Principal Attorney

Charana Kanankegamage

Charana is an Honours graduate in Law from the University of London, United Kingdom. He holds a Masters's degree in Security and Strategic Studies from Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, Sri Lanka. 

Enrolled as an Attorney-at-Law in the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka in July 2012, Charana commenced his career at the corporate law offices of M/s, F.J. & G. De Saram, Attorneys-at-Law, Sri Lanka as an Associate. Between July 2017 and August 2023, he reverted to independent practice.  He has experience advising Sri Lankan and international clients in all aspects of Corporate law advisory. 

Charana is an emerging thought leader in Sri Lankan Foreign Policy, regional geopolitics, and national security matters. He is an alumnus of the U.S. State Department International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), the German-Southeast Asian Center of Excellence for Public Policy and Good Governance (CPG), and the Hague Academy of International Law. 

Tersha Abeyratne Nanayakkara

Tersha Abeyratne Nanayakkara

Enrolled as an Attorney-at-Law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka and a Notary Public in February 2018, Tersha is an Honours Business Economics and Management graduate from the University of Nottingham. She also holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of London. 

Before her enrolment as an Attorney-at-Law, Tersha gained experience in the corporate and banking sector with stints at Brandix Lanka Limited and DFCC Bank PLC. She has completed a course in Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economics by HarvardX, the online learning platform of Harvard University. 

She has experience in litigation in labour and employment, family law, and commercial law. Tersha is well experienced in Real Property and Conveyancing. She concurrently serves as a junior counsel in the Chambers of Mr. Niel Unamboowe, Presidents Counsel, and Chamantha Weerakoon Unamboowe, Presidents Counsel.
